To advance the homeopathic profession by certifying individuals who meet and maintain a recognized standard of professional and ethical competence in classical homeopathy and to assist the general public in choosing appropriately qualified homeopaths.

We envision a healthcare system that encompasses certified classical homeopathic practitioners to be accessible to all.

Who We Certify

Eligibility for Certification

Applications for certification are accepted from practitioners of classical homeopathy who reside and practice in the United States and Canada, and meet all other requirements. The CHC does not certify homeopaths residing in countries outside the United States and Canada.

Documentation of Training Outside the United States and Canada

Candidates who study outside the United States and/or Canada and meet all other requirements for CHC Certification must submit transcripts in English for earned theoretical and clinical education in homeopathy. The CHC receives many requests from homeopaths internationally, asking to become certified through our organization; we must decline these requests. There are certifying bodies in other countries and the CHC works collaboratively with these certifying organizations and the larger world homeopathic community regarding international standards.

Applicants educated in homeopathy outside the United States and/or Canada who have transcripts in a language other than English must provide a course-by-course evaluation report conducted by a credential evaluation service such as Educational Credential Evaluators (ece.org), American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (aacroa.org) or World Educational Services (wes.org).  All transcripts/documents must be in English. Additional course work, clinical training, and/or supervision may be required based on the evaluation received from the service. Transcripts must document a minimum of 1000 hours of foundational and clinical training in homeopathy to qualify for application. To read more about this click here.

This Website is the official source for the most current certification guidelines. Although the CHC strives to give applicants and credential holders as much advance notices as possible when policies or procedures change, it is the responsibility of the individual to be fully informed about the current application and certification guidelines.
